Georgia Forestry Commission offers Burning
Permits online. Please click the link below or
copy & paste the address. From this page you can
obtain a burning permit for yard debris type
burns such as leaf piles, as well as additional
information. You may also get your burn permit
by phoning (706) 989-3662.
Please do not burn your
debris without a permit. Permits are free and it
is illegal to burn without one. For more

PURPOSE: |

The Mission of the Cusseta-Chattahoochee Fire Department,
Inc shall be to successfully attempt to prevent the outbreak of fires in
the community and to limit the danger to person and property caused by such
fires that do occur. |

MEMBERSHIP: |
|
| |
- Membership in this organization shall be open to all persons who
reside in Chattahoochee County.
- An Application for Membership shall be provided to nay person who
shall fill out said application fully and completely and return to the
Board of Directors for consideration. This application shall require
the applicant to certify as a minimum, the following:
- That the applicant is at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- That the applicant has not been convicted of a felony within
the last ten (10) years.
- That the applicant is of good moral character as defined by
the Board of Directors.
- That the applicant has a valid Georgia Driver's license.
- That the applicant agrees to allow the Organization to request
a search of local and state criminal records for convictions.
- That the applicant agree to submit to drug screening tests,
both scheduled and at random.
- That the applicant will provide a set of fingerprints, to be
kept on file within the organization.
- Approval or denial of all applicants shall be at the discretion
of the Board of Directors of this organization.
- The Board of Directors may, at its pleasure, modify the application.
