| The
Cusseta-Chattahoochee Industrial Development
Authority was created for the public purpose of
promoting and expanding business, industry and
trade in Cusseta-Chattahoochee County, Georgia
to provide increased employment for the citizens
living within Cusseta-Chattahoochee County,
Georgia. The authority is an instrumentality of
the State of Georgia and a public corporation.
It may contract and be contracted with, sue and
be sued, plead and be impleaded, and complain
and defend in all courts of law and equity. |

GENERAL POWERS: |

The
Cusseta-Chattahoochee County Industrial
Authority is the legal development arm
of the Unified Government of
Cusseta-Chattahoochee County. The
Authority coordinates all development
efforts with the Board of Commissioners
of Cusseta-Chattahoochee County. The
business of the Authority is conducted
by a Board of Directors consisting of
five members who are appointed by the
Board of Commissioners. Members must be
full time residents of the County. The
Authority Board meets monthly at 7 pm on
the fourth Monday of the month at the
IDA office located in the Community
Services Building on McNaughton Street.
The public is invited and citizen input
is always welcomed. The present Board of
Directors is listed below. |
